More About Phoebe
I’ve always been fascinated by our minds and the incredible capabilities they possess to heal from traumas we face throughout our lives. I feel enormously grateful for the privilege I have as a psychologist to be trusted to hold, support and assist clients in the challenges they face. In pursuit of learning and maintaining knowledge of the evidence-base of psychological therapies, I have completed Doctorate training in Psychology and hold a current endorsement in Clinical Psychology. I am also a board approved supervisor for provisional psychologists and clinical registrars.
I have worked with clients facing a wide range of concerns, within a variety of settings including alcohol and drug services, public hospitals, private practice and as a clinical researcher. Working with patients in hospital with cancer and acute illness fostered my interest in integration of existential-humanistic and compassion-focused approaches to working with people facing significant health and traumatic challenges. As a researcher at Reconnexion, I have been involved in developing a stepped-care program for insomnia- Better Sleep Program which is currently being evaluated by Deakin University.
